Established in the year 2023, the CSE (AI) Department offers a 4-Year B.E-CSE (AI) Degree with an annual intake of 60. B.E-CSE (AI) major purpose is to develop an inference engine and knowledge-based systems to solve problems as an expert. Students are taught various computer science languages through which they can communicate with computer machines. B.E-CSE(AI) is aimed at helping students get a strong foundation in Computer Science and artificial intelligence. The development of intelligent machines as AI products, intelligent software as computer software, or applications using a combination of machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques will be covered in the four years of courses.
To nurture competent, innovative and ethical professionals in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence who leverage emerging technologies to address global and societal challenges.
DM1: To provide quality education in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and emerging technologies through innovative teaching earning practices and an industry-oriented curriculum.
DM2: To enhance technical, analytical, research, and professional skills among students through innovation, entrepreneurship, industry collaboration and lifelong learning.
DM3: To nurture ethical and socially responsible professionals who apply advanced technologies for sustainable solutions and societal development.
Dr. Gouri R Patil, Associate Professor & HOD, CSE (AI) department, has received B.E (CSE) in 1998 from the Gulbarga University, Karnataka. M.Tech (CSE) in 2005 from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, Karnataka and awarded with Ph.D (CSE) in 2021 from JNTUH, Hyderabad, Telangana. Her main research area includes Network security, Cyber Security, Adhoc Networks, Cyber Security and Forensics, Cryptography, Mobile Computing. She is having teaching experience of 24 years including research.
She has published research papers in various reputed National & International Journals, and also published a book on Network Security. She has reviewed papers in International conferences and been as session chair in National and International conferences.
She is dedicating her professional service towards the welfare of the students and development of the department. She exhibits good governance and leads the team with a vision to meet outcome based education.
Muffakham Jah college of Engineering & Technology is accredited by the NAAC with Grade A+ in 2024
Four programs of MJCET i.e., Civil Engg., CSE, ECE, Mechanical Engg. were accredited by NBA for a period of 3 years upto 30/06/2027.
